This June, Lyriah’s Wellness joined NYC Community Schools for the annual Family & Caregiver Summit, a heartfelt event that brought together parents, guardians, and educators for a day focused on connection, healing, and hands-on self-care. The event last was two weekends of intentions and creativity.

Held at CS 55 in the Bronx and PS 298 in Brooklyn, the summits were filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful conversation. Participants enjoyed a full schedule featuring keynote speakers, interactive sessions, and wellness-focused workshops — including our DIY Body Scrub Making Experience, where families learned how to blend natural oils, create personalized scents, write down positive affirmations and take home their own self-care creation.

The workshop was more than just a craft — it was a space for reflection and bonding. Caregivers shared stories, supported one another, and discovered simple ways to bring relaxation and mindfulness into their daily lives. Seeing families and staff work side by side, laughing and creating together, truly embodied the spirit of the day.

At Lyriah’s Wellness, we’re proud to partner with organizations like The NYC Community Schools Initiative, whose mission aligns with ours — to nurture wellness, promote connection, and empower our communities through accessible, joyful experiences.
